Behind Comparison
and Imposter Syndrome

College is filled with opportunity, but fear, comparison, and imposter syndrome often shape more decisions than students realize.

Through relatable stories, humor, and practical mindset tools, Jenn helps students recognize their Fear Voice, interrupt negative self-talk, and build confidence as a skill. Her keynotes don’t add pressure to perform — they create space for honest reflection and courageous action.

The result is a room full of students who feel seen, understood, and equipped to move forward with self-trust.

Be Your Brave

How to Quiet Your Fear Voice

Fear doesn’t just make you nervous—it costs you opportunities.

It’s the reason you don’t apply for the internship or job you’re qualified for. The reason you don’t raise your hand, share the idea, or try something new. The reason you wait until you feel “more confident”… and miss your moment.

In Be Your Brave, leadership and mindset speaker Jenn DeWall helps students uncover how fear quietly shapes their choices—and what it’s costing them in confidence, growth, and opportunity.

Through humor, real-life stories, and interactive reflection, students learn how to recognize their Fear Voice, interrupt negative thinking patterns, and intentionally shift their mindset from “What if I fail?” to “What if I grow?”

This session gives students practical tools to stop letting fear make their decisions—and start showing up with courage, confidence, and self-trust, even when it feels uncomfortable.

Stop Hating Yourself Happy

How to Build Real Confidence and Break the Imposter Syndrome Cycle

People don’t walk into this room feeling confident.

They walk in comparing themselves, bracing for judgment, replaying feedback, and wondering what they still need to fix to finally feel good enough.

In this high-energy, interactive keynote, Jenn DeWall introduces a pattern many high-achievers don’t realize they’re stuck in: Hating Yourself Happy — using comparison, self-criticism, and negative thinking as motivation while believing confidence will finally arrive after the next win, promotion, or compliment.

Through humor, storytelling, and real-time audience engagement, Jenn shares her own experience navigating tough feedback and judgment, and the powerful shift that followed: confidence doesn’t come from proving yourself to others; it comes from accepting yourself and owning your value.

Participants learn how win/lose definitions of success and distorted thinking quietly drain confidence and amplify imposter syndrome — and, more importantly, how to break that cycle through self-acceptance, out-loud self-talk, and internal validation practices that build sustainable confidence.

hi, I'm Jenn.

I’m really glad you’re here.

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin feeling like I didn’t quite belong. My childhood came with a lot of stress, self-doubt, and pressure to figure things out early. What changed everything for me was learning that confidence and leadership aren’t things you’re born with—they’re skills you build.

Through leadership programs, I learned tools to manage stress, quiet negative self-talk, and show up even when things felt hard. That’s why I’m passionate about working with students today—helping you build confidence, emotional intelligence, and resilience so you don’t have to wait until “someday” to believe in yourself.

My message is simple: you don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward. You just need the right tools—and the courage to try.
